Eeeee! I'm so excited! 8D I solemnly swear to see this as many times opening weekend as my time and budget will allow...and I hope others will too! I really want the movie to do well...we can haz needs moar 2D plz. :

Just figured out that I'm going to have to take four summer classes (possibly five, if I can manage it) and 18 hours next fall if I want to graduate on time. This on top of trying to maintain my 30+ work week so that I can make rent.

Woke up at 3 and have been wildly AWAKE ever since. Like, so awake I don't know what to do with myself. I even cleaned out my car for heaven's sake. e_e And vacuumed it. At four in the morning! Who does that?!

Maybe it's just because I have so much homework to do. Or maybe it's because I ate WAY too much for dinner and my body has too much energy that it wants to burn. Or maybe I'm just procrastinating in the weirdest way possible, but I canNOT fall back asleep for the life of me.

Soooo...I've resorted to messing around on the internet and stoutly refuuuusing to do my homework. >| Though I'll probably break down here inna minute and get working on it because I'm running out of weak excuses not to look at the huge pile of it sitting next to me.

Hmm...so what else to do? I've already messed with my layout/mood icons...I know! I'll go digging through my files and post some art! That will take up time! 8)

The clouds are really pretty out. All glowy and floating by the moon really fast. Nice and breezy....hey! It's six! The rec center is open! Weeeeeee! More avoiding!

No school today! Woo! I'm super excited because I actually fell asleep reading last night for History of Crafts and didn't get around to catching up on all of it. Happily, my body got me up early on its own so I could finish and I go downstairs to check my e-mail before I begin only to find that campus is closed for inclement weather( Hah! One thing I do love about Texas: It gets cold outside and our entire state shuts down from shock that borders on indignation). x3 Now I have a chance to get that done by Thursday! AND! Andandand! That means I don't have to go to my night class tonight which means I can head over to my parent's house early for Mom's birthday! Yaaaaay! I'll probably go finish her cake around 10 or so and then just drive straight up there--so convenient! 83 I was all concerned about having to keep the cake in my car all day until 8 but now--no worries! x3 So excited! I'll get a picture of her cake posted later for anyone who might care.

In the meantime I've been trying to track down a book illustration job--gonna go out on a limb here and ask if anyone out there knows of a publishing house (no matter how small) looking for an illustrator?

I need to be drawing more anyway. 'nother semester done and gone and now all I have is work--you'd think I have loads of time to draw. But since I live so far away from my family and old friends, now that I'm not in school I'm running out of excuses not to drive down and see them more. That and I miss reading and have been doing a fair bit of it to make up for the complete lack thereof all semester....however! I'm really in the gift-giving mood and perhaps this meme will spark the gift art bug that's all curled up and waiting inside of me. >0

In other news, I managed to get off work Wednesday and Friday (and I only asked a few days ago, go figure!) so I'll be heading out of town for Turkey Day until Friday. Then it's back to work on Saturday and scramble to get my homework done on Sunday. I'm going to bring my school project with me (I have to make an art game for my final--due Monday) and try to get it done, but we'll see. I tend to get distracted when I go to Oklahoma by the outdoors and being in it. With a book. And a sketch pad. *love*

Weee, two days 'till Christmas! :D I am excited (because I am 5 years old at heart and Christmas will always feel magical to me...don't laugh too loudly at me, okay?) and yet I realize that I have a lot of work to do between now and then. @_@ My Dad has asked me to wrap all the presents he bought for my Mom and brothers for him and, well, let's just say it'll take a good few hours.

On another note, I really wish I had the money to buy things for my friends....:( I didn't get to work on Friday, so my "paycheck" will only be $80 or so if I don't get called in next week...and I don't even know when I'm supposed to pick it up. But oh well! No work means more time to laze about at home. :D

I need to go bake and clean for my mom, but I really just feel like sitting here...mostly because I'm lazy, but also because I picked up a cold. ><; I think my brother gave it to me, but it could've also been one of the kids at daycare. Either way I'm drugged up and congested and it's OH SO FUN. :D ... >>; No, really. Just means I get to lay around and play video games and get away with it. >:D but enough of that.......I'm bored, so it's time for another doodle dump!

Well, the fall semester is over finally and I'm back home now--yaaaaaaay! Finally get to relax a bit. Looks like the place I worked at over the summer won't be needing me too much over the break, but that's okay with me. It may mean less money (which I really need, actually. -_-; ) but it also means more laid back time--i.e. making up for summer break. I'm gonna help around the house as much as I can and hopefully my parents won't want to kill me for being more or less unemployed. :X And omg yay it's Christmas time! <3 My favorite holiday, not gonna lie. I love the atmosphere around my house. You can complain all you want about over commercialization of the holiday, and while it's true for some people I suppose, that doesn't mean it has to be true for you if you don't want it to be. :3 aaaanyway, enough of that! In the interest of keeping up with this sketchblog thing, here I go with more stuff! Oh, and a silly quiz I took.
